DESCRIPTION:Join Sustain Charlotte and the Charlotte Regional Transportation Coalition on Thursday\, December 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Charlotte Urban Design Center in South End for the third session of our annual Impact 704 Academy! This free 3-part series will help you build the skills\, knowledge\, and relationships to advocate successfully. Attendance at the previous events is not required to attend this one. \nThis event will delve into the importance of transportation choices to ensure that all people have access to the places they need to go in the Charlotte area. You’ll hear from local experts about the value of a complete mobility network that allows us to take more daily trips by walking\, biking\, and public transit. We’ll hear from Charlie Jones\, Deputy Director at Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT) and Andy Mock\, Senior Project Manager at Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS). \nThere will be plenty of time for audience Q&A and interaction. \nThis event is sponsored by South End and hosted by the Charlotte Urban Design Center.
