Action Alert: Tell Charlotte City Council to stand firm on opposing 77-South toll lanes!

On Monday, Aug. 3 at 5 p.m., Charlotte City Council’s Transportation, Planning & Development Committee will meet to discuss the proposed reversal of Council’s previous decision to withdraw support for the I-77 South Toll Lanes.
Now is the time to speak up.
Please take two actions today:
1. Email City Council
See the list below to send a message urging City Council to stand by its previous vote and continue opposing the current I-77 South Toll Lanes proposal.
2. Attend Tomorrow’s Meeting (if you can)
Monday at 5:00 p.m.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center
600 E. 4th Street
Room 267
Your presence matters. Even if you don’t plan to speak, simply being in the room sends a powerful message that Charlotte residents are paying attention and want City Council to stand by its decision.
We’ll have a limited number of small signs available for supporters, but we encourage you to make your own. They can be as simple as:
NO on 77!
Together, we can remind City Council that Charlotte deserves real transportation solutions that improve our mobility without dividing neighborhoods or burdening future generations.
In partnership,
Team Sustain
