This customized Google Map will give you turn by turn directions in case you get lost along the way. You can download the map for offline use, too!
Step 1: Make sure your iPhone or Android device is connected to wifi, and your software is updated (older iOS versions have had issues with the map displaying properly).
Step 2: Download the Google Maps app for free from your app store of choice. If you already have the app, make sure you have the most recent update.
Step 3: Visit biketoberfestclt.org on a mobile web browser.
Step 4: Scroll down to the Route map and click on the “View Larger Map” icon in the top right corner in the embedded map. You may have to rotate your phone horizontally to see the View Larger Map icon.
Step 5: Google Maps will open automatically after clicking the “View Larger Map” icon. Once in Google Maps, you’ll see a tab pop up at the bottom of the screen titled “Biketoberfest Route 2019”. Click that tab to open the map legend, then click the back arrow to return to the full route map. Select the Menu icon (three vertical lines next to the “Search here” bar). 4
Step 6: You will now see 2019 Biketoberfest Route listed in the menu. Click on the “Offline Maps” tab.
