2025 Bike Charlotte Awards

Bike Charlotte Awards Ceremony for Bike Month, featuring ThinkBike – Dutch Cycling Embassy, a conversation and documentary viewing of Dutch transportation changes over the years, from car domination to multimodal travel. Winners will be announced for Bike Champion of the Year, Bike-Friendly Business of the Year, and the winner of Charlotte’s street sweeping competition. This is a fundraising event for Trips for Kids. Free event!
We’re excited to welcome the Dutch Cycling Embassy and representatives from the City of Charlotte for an evening of community, conversation, and cycling inspiration.
5:00 p.m. – Happy hour & networking. Enjoy a cash bar and free pizza (while it lasts) as you connect with fellow cycling enthusiasts.
6:00 p.m. – Bike Charlotte Awards. Celebrate the individuals and organizations making an impact on Charlotte’s cycling community.
6:45 p.m. – Film Screening. Watch a special shortened version of Together We Cycle, a powerful documentary on Dutch cycling culture.
7:15 p.m. – Panel Discussion. Hear from members of the Dutch Cycling Embassy and the City of Charlotte as they discuss insights from the film and the future of biking in Charlotte.
8:15 p.m. – Raffle and more networking! Wrap up the night with a fun raffle and more time to mingle!
