Support Sustain Charlotte by Volunteering at Crown Town Farm

We’re excited to share a new partnership with LendScout and Crown Town Farm in Mt. Pleasant, NC—just 45 minutes from Charlotte!
Here’s how it works: Join us for a special volunteer service opportunity on May 23, and LendScout will donate $50 to Sustain Charlotte for every volunteer. Children are welcome with an adult chaperone.
Crown Town Farm, part of the Crown Town “three sisters” alongside Crown Town Compost and Crown Town Landscapes, is a new regenerative, no-till farm growing fresh, local produce.
Saturday, May 23
Arrive just before 2:00 PM
Volunteer: 2–4 PM | Guided Farm Tour: 4–5 PM
Afterward, enjoy live bluegrass and complimentary food and drinks at Crown Town’s Memorial Day Veg Out event!
Volunteer tasks may include: planting, harvesting, washing produce, caring for chickens, light building projects.
Whether you’re coming solo, with family or friends, or as a group, this is a hands-on way to give back, spend time outdoors on a local farm, and connect with Sustain Charlotte, Crown Town, and fellow volunteers.
