Sustain Charlotte Ambassador training

Join us for our volunteer training to become an ambassador for Sustain Charlotte!

This free training session will take place at the Sustain Charlotte office for approximately 2 hours. Volunteers will be guided through an initial staff presentation about the mission and history of Sustain Charlotte and have a chance to learn about efforts being taken today to generate a healthier, more equitable, and vibrant community.

Attendees will also be invited to engage in an educational activity, explore government resources, and ask questions to build the skills and confidence necessary to represent Sustain Charlotte at community events.

At the end of this training, attendees will be issued a certificate of completion to signify their new knowledge and encourge them to take the next step: attending their first outreach event! While this training will not have an optional walking tour at the end, we encourage participants to learn more about urban design and the history of Charlotte through our self-guided urban walking tour of Uptown.

Please note that Ambassador Training will take place at the Sustain Charlotte office. To access our office, visitors must climb two flights of stairs and there is no elevator available.
