Join us for a thought-provoking event as we explore the question, “What would a transportation network that works for people of all ages and abilities look like, and how can we achieve that?”. Expert panelists will share insights about how local government and community partners work to meet the mobility needs of older adults, children, and people with disabilities.
You’ll learn how a transportation referendum this November will allow Mecklenburg County voters to choose a transformational investment in public transit and safer streets for all.
Our panelists:
Charles Jones, Deputy Director, Charlotte Department of Transportation
Dr. Corsha Caughman, Assistant Division Director, Mecklenburg County Children, Family and Adult Services – Services for Adults
Jamaal Smith, Community Advocacy Director, American Heart Association
Bruce Jones, Service Planning & Development Manager, Charlotte Area Transit System
