What is Sustain Charlotte's Biketoberfest?
How does Biketoberfest work?
This family-friendly scavenger hunt takes place throughout the Charlotte area.
Participants are given adventure passports and are welcome to bike, walk, or use local transit to navigate the route and visit new destinations, support local businesses, see the infrastructure available to support safer riding, and collect stamps in their passports along the way. Participants are also welcome to dress up! Costumes are welcome.
At the end of the event, there is an after-party at Triple C Brewing, where participants can exchange those stamps for raffle tickets to win prizes. The after-party also includes vendors, food, live music, and a limited-release Biketoberfest beer!
Biketoberfest 2024
Last year, we celebrated our 10th annual Biketoberfest, presented by City of Charlotte. That's a decade of pedals and progress toward making Charlotte safe and enjoyable for folks to get around without using a car!
Last year's event raised a record $105,000 in support of Sustain Charlotte's mission to create a more equitable, connected, and healthy community by inspiring responsible growth and transportation choices! Big thank you to the 750 folks who came out to ride, walk, scoot, and volunteer!
We look forward to an even bigger and better event this year!
