Biketoberfest is a way to get exercise and raise money for a good cause. As one couple proved, it can also be the place where you find the love of your life.
When Muryn volunteered in 2017 he hoped the event would help other cyclists be able to commute to work and get around. But little did he know, he was in store for a much bigger life event.
“My guard was down, I wasn’t expecting to meet anybody,” Muryn said.
Turns out he met a girl toward the end of the event as they were both leaving.
“I was riding by myself, and I saw someone in front of me with a green flashing light,” Leslie Muryn said. “He had his helmet on so I thought he would be safe to follow.”
