I-77 expansion work continues despite Charlotte City Council revoking its support (WBTV)
The Charlotte Regional Transportation Planning Organization (CRTPO) has the final say if the expansion project stays or goes. If this project goes away, it could be decades before state funding for this I-77 widening project comes up again.
