2024 Sustain Charlotte internship opportunities
Marketing & Social Media Intern (1 position available): The Marketing and Social Media intern position is available in summer 2024. The intern will work with the Communications team to create and implement compelling marketing and social media campaigns to further the Sustain Charlotte mission. The intern will develop creative strategies and materials to enhance Sustain Charlotte’s online presence. The intern will also take high-quality "stock" photos for our photo library to be used for digital and print materials and other duties as assigned.
All positions run for a minimum of 8 consecutive weeks and a maximum of 12 consecutive weeks. Schedule details will be determined with successful applicants.
Compensation: We offer stipend-based compensation for our internship program, which is in line with industry standards for similar internships in Charlotte-based nonprofits. Our program provides an excellent learning experience, mentorship, and the chance to gain insight into how we can create a more sustainable community. During your internship, you will have access to various training and development programs. Additionally, we offer the opportunity to earn educational credits in collaboration with your academic institution. Successful completion of the internship may lead to consideration for full-time employment with our organization.
