State selects design for I-77 South toll lanes as opponents call decision ‘predetermined’ (CBJ)
The N.C. Department of Transportation says it will move forward with designs that include elevated toll lanes over Interstate 77 into uptown as part of a planned $3.2 billion expansion project.
