Impact 704 Academy: Transportation Choices

Join Sustain Charlotte and the Charlotte Regional Transportation Coalition on Thursday, December 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Charlotte Urban Design Center in South End for the second session of our annual Impact 704 Academy! This free 3-part series (final event on Weds 12/11) will help you build the skills, knowledge, and relationships to advocate successfully. Attendance at the previous events is not required to attend this one.

This event will delve into the importance of transportation choices to ensure that all people have access to the places they need to go in the Charlotte area. You’ll hear from local experts about the value of a complete mobility network that allows us to take more daily trips by walking, biking, and public transit.

The event will include a moderated panel discussion.

There will be plenty of time for audience Q&A and interaction.

This event is sponsored by South End and hosted by the Charlotte Urban Design Center. It is FREE but registration is required due to limited space.

Arriving: There is no parking at the Urban Design Center South End Studio. We suggest you access it by public transit (located directly adjacent to the Bland Street light rail station). There is 2 hour paid parking on Camden Road and other adjacent streets. There is also free street parking on S. Church Street, Key Court, and Rensselaer Avenue.
