This free 3-part series (final event on Weds 12/11) will help you build the skills, knowledge, and relationships to advocate successfully.

This session will introduce the basics of land use and development in Charlotte, with a deeper focus on preventing displacement and ensuring all people can afford housing as our neighborhoods grow and change.

The event will include a moderated panel discussion.

Moderator: Rev. Janet Garner-Mullins, CRTC steering committee

Panelists:

  • Warren Wooten, Assistant Director of Affordable Housing, City of Charlotte
  • Judith Brown, Project70Forward.org
  • Kenny Robinson, Freedom Fighting Missionaries

There will be plenty of time for audience Q&A and interaction.

This event is sponsored by South End and hosted by the Charlotte Urban Design Center. It is FREE but registration is required due to limited space.
