Come join us for a fun-filled morning to learn about the CATS bus system. We are hosting this event to teach people how to navigate the bus system in hopes that they will feel comfortable using it regularly. Charlotte City Council Member Marjorie Molina and Mayor Pro Tem Dante Anderson will be joining us for this experience alongside attendees. They look forward to hearing what YOU have to say.
We will gather at 9:00 a.m. in the Harris Teeter parking lot by the Central Ave & Nandina St bus stop. We’ll kick off the morning with a tutorial on how to use the CATS App before hopping on the Route 9 bus at 9:25 a.m. toward Uptown’s Charlotte Transportation Center (CTC). From the CTC, we will walk eight minutes to the Uptown Farmers Market (300 S. Davidson St.) where attendees can enjoy a local treat. Along the way, we encourage attendees to discuss the CATS system with Council Member Molina and Mayor Pro Tem Anderson. We will then walk back to the CTC to take the 10:30am Route 9 bus back to Harris Teeter (1704 Central Ave, Charlotte, NC 28205). The event will begin and end at the same location.
We can’t wait to see you there!
Location: The event will start at Harris Teeter in the parking lot right behind the bus stop (1704 Central Ave, Charlotte, NC 28205). You can get there by taking the number 9 route through Central Avenue and getting off at stop 2 (Central Ave & Nandina St bus stop).
