Meet our new digital content coordinator
Hello there! I am Asia Bartholomew, the former Communications Marketing Intern and now Digital Content Coordinator at Sustain Charlotte. I was born in Gardena, California but have called Charlotte home for half of my life.
I am currently a senior at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte finishing my degree in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. I have been working in the digital marketing field for almost three years now as a freelancer. I manage several social media accounts for art, nonprofit and community-based organizations. I develop strategies and create content that assist my clients with reaching their audiences.
As Digital Content Coordinator with Sustain Charlotte, I work to showcase the stories of impact through the various social media platforms. I try to show why each and every person in Charlotte should care about the issues of transportation and land use. Sustain Charlotte as an organization sees the connections on how those issues affect access for all people in the city and the work they continue to do improves that.
In my time with Sustain Charlotte I have learned the power in partnership. Engaging community members in their own backyard with activities and programs that not only conserve our environment, but also connect our communities is exactly what Sustain Charlotte does and has shown as very successful. I am excited to start this journey of Digital Content Coordinator, spotlighting those partnerships and stories about making Charlotte a better place to live for generations to come.
